When ElliptiGO introduced its first bike more than ten years ago, it ushered in the advent of a whole new sport. Since then, we've seen the subset of cycling known as "stand up" explode in popularity throughout the globe.
Recently, we've heard about another sport that seems to have a similar following to our cycling, with equally passionate participants, a thriving community, and health advantages, no matter your goals. In this case, the sport in question is pickleball.
The number of people participating in this sport has increased dramatically in recent years, even though it has been around for more than 55 years. Pickleball has been crowned the fastest-growing sport in America for the second year in a row by the Sports & Fitness Industry Association.
Pickleball is played on a court about the same size as a badminton court, with a net similar to the ones used in tennis and ping-pong, with paddles and a ball that look like Wiffle balls but have 26 to 40 holes.
We've seen a lot of ElliptiGO riders picking up the pickleball paddle, so let's see how these two popular sports mix.
